My DollZone Tarot Series The Moon 🌙☄

I wanted to keep that she had been part of a Tarot series as part of her look. I gave her a lot of mottling while thinking about craters and the way the Moon looks in general and gave her the moon on her chest and the beams in her ribs as a call to the traditional look of the card. Going to have to clarify those a little. But I Incorporated a lot of teal and purple in addition to the expected shades of red for the bits of injury on her. I wanted her to still look nice in the original presentation box, which is mostly what she’s photographed against here. Lots of freckles and dots and specks and all that good stuff. So much shiny iridescent crap haha

I hope you guys like the result of her like I do!

Before and mostly after of my DollZone Tarot The Moon doll!

She was purchased as you see her on the left and months and months of cleaning and sealing and painting have brought us to the right.

The gold inside her ribs was intended to mimic the rays coming from the Moon traditional of a The Moon tarot card, but since the inside is curved it looks somewhat like they are trying to be her ribs in photos and that was not what I was going for so we may do some adjustments in there.

But for now just so glad she’s in one piece and able to be enjoyed! I still need to name her.

A sculpt I had a lot of interest in poking around with because of it being used so dramatically poorly both times they rolled it out. There was much to make her look super off-putting either like she was a serial killer telling someone to smile at gunpoint or she was the person being told to smile. I hope I’ve eliminated both of those options at least, even if I’m not totally sure I’ve eliminated off putting.

She’ll need to become some kinda space person dressed completely in lamé, I think. Her pink and purple freckles with sparkle bits demand it. Her hair has selective gravity and I’m finding it challenging to arrange in a not terrible manner so this may also be a sign.

We’ll see where she goes.

Worked on the unstacey today also! Have to clean around her lip Again and she is obviously bald, but this was a neat to do. Not exactly what I envisioned, but I don’t think I ever had a really Clear Vision anyway haha

She was primarily interested in getting the doll for her clothes and her chicken, haha, so I thought it would be fun to paint the doll to be something nice to have too!

And I really like painting dolls for people I love who also love dolls💚
