Fixing formatting hell aside, this one is a delight.  It’s a mix of lots of new content that fleshes out the world and a bunch of much-loved bits from the original version.  Hope you enjoy it~

Edgar and Johnny pay a visit to Dib, and then eat lunch with Devi, Tenna, and Jimmy.

This chapter doesn’t have a direct parallel to the original version of the story at all! Everything in here is new, which made it a lot of fun to do and explore.  (I say ‘fun’ about all of them, but they really have been.  That’s how there’s even so many!)

Johnny and Edgar deal with Edgar’s supernatural house and attempt to cope.

Always a good time! I got to both keep some lines exactly the same as the original and I got to add in some things I really wanted with regard to Edgar, so I’m super pleased about this.

 I’m aiming for updating this on Wednesdays, by the way. I have been, but I don’t know if anyone else has noticed.   I should be able to stick with it for a while considering how far in advance I’ve written!

The 4th bit of my SWAN rewrite/remix/re-something. I had an absolute blast with this one and I hope you enjoy it too~!  It has fragments of seven(!) songs, and most of them are just ridiculous fun.   Gotta get all this fun out before bad shit starts going down.

More of this!  I wanted to do this last night, but lost power for a while AND had a blue screen of death emergency, so I do it now! 

Some extended actual interaction between Edgar and Johnny, which I really enjoyed doing, and the continued consequences of changing who Edgar is take shape.

Here is more of this thing!  Some interesting changes happened here compared to the original, though bigger ones are yet to come!  I hope you enjoy going through this even a little bit as much as I liked making it~

Sharing a bit of a personal experiment in rewriting (some of) ‘Song Without A Name’, a fanfic I began writing in 2004. May never go further than a few chapters, though if you want to see the/a conclusion written by a version of me ten years younger, it’s the first part of this series and is complete along with its sequel from 2008. Just keep in mind that things have changed. :)

The original summary should still apply and is thus:

“Reincarnation is complicated, and apparently, not a refined system. When the lines between lives are blurry at best, and memories seep in from the person you were, do you stay the person you are? Who do you want to be, and do you want to be seen?”

So this is the first part of the thing!   This has been a really fun experiment.  I’ve done three chapters of material so far, and this is just the first one.  I’ll be posting the other bits at some relatively close future time.  I hope dearly it’s not a disappointment to people who have been excited hearing about it in that it’s not technically a new part of the story, but I did warn you that it was odd. (And I do have something I could give people who want something new, it just has a giant hole in it right now. :X)

This is almost entirely new things, however, and I actually found it really exciting to write it both as a revisiting and a restart.  It’s fleshed out and changed quite a bit and I think if you ever just wanted to see more of the world the Homicides lived in, more of their interactions together, and more of their background, you’ll enjoy it.
