This picture of my grandmother’s sixth grade class from October of 1949 is goddamn delightful. Kudos to that kid center stage in the skeleton onesie that got my attention immediately in an otherwise very similar-looking ocean of class photos. I love seeing Halloween costumes from other eras~

“This Is Halloween” from The Nightmare Before Christmas in Russian!
The voices of “I am the …” at the start of the song are really, really cool. It sounds like the Russian dubbers have some serious experience with creepy monster voices, they’re really awesome! However, in other places, the singers sound a little bored, so I never feel the same sense of building fanaticism listening to this as I feel with the original version (or indeed other versions!) of the song. It could have something to do with the volume, though, since it’s a bit of a quiet file.
