Whew, here is a thing! This one is rather transitional, so it starts out nice and light but everything gets worse from here. This rewrite thing is just dragging me behind it, mostly. It’s going to end up longer than the original, but I’m pretty excited about it because these awful kids feel mostly real to me.

Random Rainbow SWAN-verse Nny!
Been thinking about him a lot lately.
SWAN-verse Nny dramatically snapping off his necklace.
I suddenly had this image in my head this evening. I think the way it finally leaves him originally is it just falls to the ground when certain conditions are met, but I really like the idea of something theatrical and triumphant like this. It’s very him. I imagined him grinning like this at Pepito, very ‘What now, fucker?’
Making reSWAN has let me play with Nny a lot more, and let me explore directions that I decided not to go when I tried to map this whole thing out ten years ago and it’s really joyous.
So is drawing SWAN!Nny, frankly. He’s weirdly inspirational.
SWAN!Nny and Edgar, from last night’s stream adventure, the good majority of which was spent screaming at Clip Studio for not being Photoshop. I did decide to take advantage of Clip Studio’s ridiculous effects brush, though. Nny very nearly ended up with frills on his gloves because of it.
