This is sort of a series now, I guess.   

This one is Lumina.  She’s from the LOFP story.

This is the first part of a three-part image done for my friend Amy, who is my conspirator on the universe that Ping and Eagle are from.  

These two are Justi and Silvana, Eagle’s immortal paternal grandparents.  Silvana is the Empress of her dead race, and is slowly trying to rebuild through her family.  Justi is not human, but a green-blooded alien to the world Silvana inhabits.  His usual form has him with a snake-like tail rather than legs.   

They’re a strange pair - Justi is a bit of a goofball and often not very smart.  Silvana is considerably more quiet and serious, and has a degree of elegance Justi will never quite manage.  This is probably the first time Justi’s ever been in something beyond a simple shirt and jeans.

It occurred to me recently that I do a lot of posting here about Banshee, Hades, and June, but that you don’t see a lot from the stories other than SWAN/ISH and CK that have spent some considerable time in my head.  

So I want you to meet Eagle and Ping.  

Ping lives in a world that contains both magic and technology, but he comes from and lives in a very technology-centered city.  He likes techno music, collecting hubcaps, and being left the hell alone.  He works occasional weekends at his family’s restaurant, but mostly lives off of selling things on his world’s equivalent of the internet.  

Eagle is the vampire that lives on Ping’s sofa.  Ping doesn’t know much about Eagle except that he can single-handedly decimate an ‘All You Can Eat’ buffet and that he seems to enjoy finding new and creative ways of asking Ping to sleep with him.   The answer is always 'No,’ and yet, for reasons mostly related to a growing academic interest in the more magical world Eagle clearly comes from, Ping continues to allow him to sleep on the couch.  Eagle, however, is not keen on Ping tracking down his history.

While Ping is my little mind-monster, Eagle belongs to my friend Amy, who does not have an online presence for me to give to you, but, like Jen and CK, has been doing this thing with me for a very long time and used to draw the adventures in this world with me from something like 1998.

They’re from a story that will soon be getting some deserved air time around here.

These are the last drawings I made in 2011~   They’re on half of a giant piece of paper that I shared with my friend Amy, who I spent New Year’s Eve night with.   She shared some universes like CK with me (that occasionally crossed over, even!) which is what all these folks are from.  

On top with the feather and wings is Angkor, a phoenix who lives in a house with several other people, including Lumina the dragon woman who is next to him.  Lumina has showed him something questionable, apparently.

Under that is three different bits of Mr. Marlon Aaron, who is a vain and self-important scholar living on top of a mountain.  In one of the drawings, he’s freaking out that I seem to have drawn a fish man popping out of his hair in yet another drawing.    The fish guy is simultaneously old and new, and I’ve just realized recently that I can’t call him “Fish.”
