My Fuu! In various before and after shots. She’s borrowing my Ghoulia’s headband for a few photos until I get the ribbon I need for her. I got Fuu used and she didn’t come with the headband she’s supposed to have. Ghoulia’s is the wrong color, but it’s a good stand in for a photo.

Fuu will be transferred to a new body after the new year, so excited~

Umi! Her eyes are sculpted to look a little angrier than the other girls but I think we got her to a good place. You know I’m never opposed to angry of course, but the expression looks a little more versatile now. And not blank which was the goal from the beginning.

The poor thing is still so stained though haha

Tweaked Hikaru! I think she looks happier and more alert now.

Well, we are not perfect and we bent a little in the process of being manhandled to be painted, but I think we’ve improved! Whew!

I know Umi is rare and everything, but I’m going to be much happier with her if she looks more like manga Umi, so something like this is the plan for her. My biggest feeling on seeing these dolls was that they did not have nearly enough black eyelash for CLAMP characters haha

The other girls’ boots, Hikaru’s rat tail, Umi’s staining, bent swords, just barely articulated bodies. There are Adventures to be had here.

Same treatment for Fuu, just painting in her pupils for now!

I think I ultimately want to get Umi (And the others) more toward her manga face, but for now, I just wanted to fill in her pupils, holy shit

She looks more ‘with it’ to me now. I’m gonna do the same to Fuu while I’m here.
