Testing new markers with Malik and Ryou :)
My piece for the Bratty Doll Malik Ishtar Zine @bratty-doll that was released last month~! Though some of you on Patreon got to see him months ago :P
I found this 90s Ken outfit among the thrift barbie stuff my mom gave me
I did what I had to. I’m sure a guy raised in a hole in the middle of the desert is very qualified for this
It’s extremely dorky but he makes it work when you pull it off of his shoulders because he was just not a guy made for sleeves.
I’m sorting almost literally everything I own in the background so, enjoy that I guess.
A preview of my piece for the Malik Ishtar Fashion Zine, @bratty-doll ! I used 18th Dynasty Egypt as my inspiring theme
Coming soon to cause problems on purpose to a fandom near you
Hey, I put up more of Strange Shapes! More conversation, phone numbers, the oddest and yet only relatable person you know, and a brief motorcyle ride.
After the Pharaoh leaves for the next world, Malik Ishtar attempts to find his place in this one. His apology to - and then subsequent surprise bonding with - the very strange Ryou Bakura over a long weekend of conversation leads to Malik ensuring they can keep talking even with half the world between them. Discussions of pain, loneliness, destiny, identity, and trauma in between painting miniatures and the pressure of a world interested in your academic and entertainment value.
Set in manga canon.
The first piece of this is finally out in the wild. Making my obsession with Malik/Ryou that much more public. Please enjoy it!
