Had some fun drawing Ye Olde Original Characters the last few days.

I drew my character, June, tonight, because I was thinking about her a lot recently and then a friend reblogged art of her and it tipped the scales in that direction, haha
She’s been with me since I was ten. Of course, she’s been through some shit in that time, but haven’t we all.
My Banshee and Yo-Yo, partly because @withthingsunreal remembered them!
Birthday gift a month late for my friend Amy. Our characters Xel (mine, purple genderless demon) and Cicero (hers, snake man from space) that we made together 20 years ago and have been revitalizing for the last few months. I spent Friday at her house making this for her while she worked from home.

LYX’s Characters Time: Hades
So Hades! He’s an appropriate place to start since he’s fresh in my mind, though it’s not like I would need him to be to do this. You just have seen my usual trio of ladies often, so we’re doing something new-ish.
This’ll be illustrated, because what else am I going to do with scans of 20 year old drawings.
I actually have an old LiveJournal where I made an almost wiki-like experience for tracking all the people in Hades’ world, but it might be easier to introduce you guys this way. If for some reason you are Deeply Compelled, I can hit you up with LiveJournal nonsense.
Ideally, I’ll just sort of start making more drawings that show stories going on, but if you are interested in some kind of context for him, this should help. I am preparing myself to discover a pattern of personal tropes in this and become hyper self-aware, as you should prepare for Lady Was Nine as you read this.
So okay, here we go!
Another Hades since I enjoyed drawing him so much last night. It was supposed to be a quick warmup doodle and then I fucked around with it for far too long!
