HEY FOLKS HEADING TO GALLIFREY ONE 2015!

I missed the closeout of the art show by a single day, so I won’t be in the show this year for you to pick up the stuff I made this year for said show, but if you are still interested in getting a copy of The Yeti Book or a TARDIS Fashion Spread Poster/Banner, you can purchase one now minus the shipping cost and I’ll bring your order with me to the convention to deliver to you in person!

The links give you some more detailed info and photos of each of these items, so make sure you check those out, but the basic breakdown is:

The Yeti Book - 33-page illustrated children’s book written and illustrated by me and starring the Second Doctor and Jamie McCrimmon. I have ten, possibly 11 copies, at US$20 each.
Touch of TARDIS Banner - A single lineup of the TV Companions from Susan to Clara each in a specially designed TARDIS-inspired costume. 6 feet x 2.5 feet, vinyl. US$60 each. There are two of these available.
Touch of TARDIS Poster - Semi-glossy 18 x 24 inch poster of the same lineup as the banner, just broken in half. US$25. There are also only two of these available.

Since there are limited quantities of The Yeti Book, the poster, and the banner, they’ll be going on a first come, first served basis, but if you’re interested in ordering just a regular art print, those are made to order and I can bring those to you as well. We can arrange a time for delivery once we have a convention schedule, or if you’re coming in on Thursday like I am, before the con officially starts.

Everything must be paid for in advance. I’m not setting up some kind of blackmarket print shop out of my suitcase, this is just a delivery option!

Hell yeah, I’ll do prints. I was just thinking today I wanted to make one to hang up at work, haha.

I’m not massively interested in uploading this to Society6 for a variety of reasons, but if you’re interested in getting a print right from me, I’d be super down with doing that. I’ve got a professional quality printer and some photo paper that is damn near prohibitively expensive. I print everything from my super high-res original files. All the prints I take to cons I make at home and they look better than the same images made in print shops, so I’m definitely not sending you some cheapo shit. We’d be limited to the 8.5 x 11 inch paper size, but if that’s cool with you (and anyone else interested??) then I’m down.

It’s US$10 for what will ultimately be an 8 x 10in print. I’m not in a place with my paper cutter, so I can’t trim the edges, but consider it a bonus to make it easier to frame. :P

Shipping is US$3 for standard shipping in the US and Canada, slightly more elsewhere, but I’ll send it anywhere, just let me know and we’ll figure it out. Since I wasn’t able to get into the Gallifrey One artshow this year, I have several prints available that didn’t get to see the light of day at the con! There are more than these even! All the prints are done from highres scans, with no watermarks, on high quality photo paper with my badass hardcore printer.

I’ve also been known to include notes and doodles with print mailings!

Yeti Books!

I’ve recently been getting a lot of interest in my Yeti Book, which was sold in hardcopy at Gallifrey One two years ago and for a little while after online.  I’m in a bit of an iffy financial situation right now, so I can’t make another blind printing of the books, but I get enough people sad that the digital copy has expired that I thought about seeing if anyone would be interested in receiving the digital Yeti Book for a small donation.

Ideally, I’d like to set up some pre-orders for real Yeti Books, but I need to do some research in my new location and see what the rates are for printing them out.  So for now, would you be willing to have access to a download of a digital for a a few dollars?  Or even, assuming the pricing works out, would you be interested in getting on board with a pre-order of a physical copy, should it be something I end up being able to work out?

Saying you’d be interested isn’t a commitment, but I would like you to have at least the intent to be serious! :) (I also have to figure out the logistics of doing it!)

There are, of course, still prints of images from the Yeti Book (as well as other Doctor Who images!) available.

Missing ISH Scenes

Back in May when I finished ISH, I thought I was done with this madness!  But a little while later, I discovered some scenes that I had just forgotten to put in.  One was buried under all the in-progress chunks I’d used to construct the story and had just been lost in the shuffle - I had every intention of including it originally.  During the course of ISH 8 (Overdrive), Banshee sees some little thing go on with Johnny, Edgar and a notebook.  There was supposed to be a later continuation of the notebook.  It’s small, which is probably why it got lost, but I thought it was important enough to put back in.   It’s a little over half-way through in the thick of all the hotel action, but I made this link directly to the start of the new section as well: ISH 8 - Banshee and the Notebook

The other missing piece came two chapters later in ISH 10 (Karaoke Soul) and was a fairly long section of Banshee spying on Johnny and Edgar. I originally consciously decided to leave it out because I thought maybe it was too much.  After I read it again when I was going through the remnants of everything in my ISH folder, I thought, “Well, I’ll put it in a deleted scene file at the end of all this and just tell people where it was supposed to go in the story."  I decided instead to actually integrate it into the story instead, in further service of the ‘different perceptions of people/memories/deciding to be seen’ theme.  It’s about half-way into ISH 10 after Edgar asks Johnny about some of the weird history of Jimmy. Again, I also made a direct link to it: Spying in the Closet

There are still some actually deleted (as in won’t be integrated into the actual story) scenes that I’ll get together soon, but I hope you enjoy these legit ones!  I definitely enjoyed grafting them back in where they belong!

Would anyone like some fail-pages from Yeti Book printings?

While the two books I found in storage were printed up by some people who actually know what they’re doing, these pages were screwed up by yours truly MORE THAN ONCE, in an attempt to make them myself. The first set features the image of Two wearing his sombrero and spewing all sorts of things from his pockets, as well as the image of him hugging Jamie for finding his recorder. Upside down, on the other side, is Two in his TARDIS with Jamie outside, and Two putting sombreros on everyone. There are TWO sheets like this, and one sheet that has only the sombrero/pockets and hug side.

The other set is the ‘Universe Coat’ picture, plus the Doctor confronting the Yeti that has stolen Jamie. On the reverse, upside down, is the Doctor producing things from his pockets and he and Jamie inside the TARDIS. There are also two of these, because I am a genius.

These were all meant to pages in a finished Yeti Book, so they include text. The images are a little darker than in the final Yeti Books, but they’re on high quality matte photopaper and feel like sturdy cardstock. They were still printed from high-res scans, so they’re still very cute images and could be cut in half to make cute mini-prints.

They’re too nice for me to throw out, but I don’t have any use for them, so I’m seeing if you folks would like them! I’d like to get 7 or 8 dollars for a sheet with four images, but I can be flexible~ Let me know if you’d like one!

What better to get autographs from Louise Jameson and Paul McGann on, eh?

Not that anything is going to compare to the glitter-extravaganza that the original was, but here we go!
