I reread RESWAN and had to redraw this for @ladyyatexel ! Added a few new details and changed some things, but man have I improved.
Nny’s identity struggle is 100% relatable. I mean, other than the murder part, just struggling to figure out what part of you that you want to become. Having voices telling you to be one person, or the next. Having to fight all of that to get your true self despite having other clearly defined personalities.
It’s such a good story and I seriously implore you to read it, Jthm fan or not!!!!

I love that you wanted to revisit the story AND your art for it. I especially love the shading on the new faces in particular, that looks great. Color choices are harmonizing so much better now too! And Edgar looks like such a Guy?? I cannot form a better sentence about it I just keep looking at him and being like that is a dude right there. Like I know his face or something? He’s got some real huggable dude energy.
Adding stars and eyeliner decoration to Johnny always a good choice, can’t go wrong with that.

Okay it’s been years since my first JTHM obsession and I recently re-read RESWAN by @ladyyatexel . Holy. Crap. Literally I’ve never seen anyone else write Johnny the way Ladyyatexel does. He’s written so deeply and with such care, and there’s so much personalization to him other than “I’m a murderer”. It’s a good read, please devote your time to reading it!!
