I have non-canonical parts of AU haha (the entire jimmy’s boyfriend saga, the elusive ‘other’ universe…)
It is ISH (I’m Still Here), yeah, and the form it is in currently, or the one that exists now is not Correct. It’s very much a follow up to the first version of SWAN, so things have developed differently and the characters are in different places and just wouldn’t make some of the decisions they do in ISH anymore. I feel like the overall shape will be very similar, and a lot of the events that happened in it will still be happening, but at different times, different sizes, implications, etc.
So ISH is being rewritten kind of in the same way SWAN was turned into reSWAN, but it’s a bit more challenging to balance letting it spin off into fuck all and keeping some things that feel core to the overall shape of the thing. I’ve been taking 8000 years to do it, but I’ve been still been gently begging people not to look at the old one if their only exposure to this universe is reSWAN. I feel like it will just clank badly against the characters as they are now.
but uh, yes, now that i’ve gone the long ass way around, Banshee did believe Tess was red at one point.

As far as like, ‘color of star in the band’, Banshee’s had been white for a variety of reasons. Her hair is usually green (and often leaning blue) because it’s my favorite color and I wanted some visual variation.
I’m thinking about changing her color, but what color it’s going to be I haven’t decided yet. There’s a song in ISH called ‘Red Stars’, which I associate strongly with Banshee, but the color was applied elsewhere. So that’s a possibility, but now I’m laughing about this aqua business, so we could be Anywhere now.

I had green eyeshadow on but it didn’t show through oof- but it’s cool- I also forgot the hair pins with the Easter grass oops
I love shots like that first one that are just like the casual smiles you throw at cameras when you are there with your friend who is The Camera Person. There’s something that really interests me about shots like that, I’m glad you took one.
Also loving the mirror stuff again, those look extremely cool every time.

I like this idea of just sitting here having a bitchy conversation with your former selves, like, guys, no, really, give me something here. For some reason it’s really humorous to see just glitch speak and have Edgar be like, ‘Yeah, okay, that could be legit.’ Like he’s on a conference call with himself several times over with a piece of glass.

The hand on the neck gesture is very Edgar.
This one where it’s like, ‘guys, okay no, talk to me.’ Imagine walking by this guy having an in depth pleading conversation with a piece of glass.
This is a similar feeling? Like and here we have a man’s response to the reaction he got the from the fucking piece of glass he’s talking to. No wonder he felt the need to go to a scenic cliff for this conversation.
The mirror faces are cool as fuck, also, I love those! I like that you’ve got them a little obscured and distorted with layers and colors. This is very yes.

I got some vibes that you were mixing Zarla’s work in there too, which would be wild as fuck for my poor Edgar to deal with. Adding another face with Even More hideous baggage onto what he’s already got. He’s lucky it’s not the same universe or he’s be just as fragmented as Johnny at this point, haha.
Although, the way we show we love Edgar is to torture him, it’s just proven science.

I was listening to Loser by Beck doing this digitally. My friend Vincent wanted Swan Edgar so I sketched him (and royally messed up inking so that’s why it’s digital lol)
Tbh Loser reminds me more of Jimmy so maybe I should do him next- and I like the sketch better ngl ha
@ladyyatexel - Edgar needs heavy glitter eyeshadow because that would be funny to see him freak out over it Not Coming Off and getting in his eyebrows and hair somehow (cue Jimmy and Tenna losing their minds in the background, hiding the makeup wipes they stole from the dollar store)

I fully support the idea of covering Edgar in more glitter. We need to decorate this dude the whole way to the eyebrows. Edgar will be afflicted with spare glitter the rest of his life, look who he hangs out with. He needs to just embrace it.
Alternately, everyone just saying, “you’ve got glitter on you,” all the time, but not telling him Where, so he just feels itchy all the time

I put acrylic in my hair- it’s not toxic but it was a royal pain to get out lol- I made little reflective add ons out of those Easter basket filler grass junk and those went in my hair too <3
I cannot explain the utter frustration the star on my right arm caused me- I’m not left handed damn it lol
It was windy and cold so I couldn’t stay outside long so have extra random Devi in the kitchen ^^
As you can see I took after your very beautiful water color work with Devi- I used metallic paint and surprisingly it didn’t irritate my skin ha
Those drips around the eyes are Fantastic! These are so delightful, I can’t get over it. The kitchen ones great, do not apologize for them! You have an amazing smile! That bottom left image is Great, I love it.
