I was involved in Sakura Exchange last month, and creators were revealed today, so I can post this! This was actually a pinch hit, but man, I was glad to draw baby’s first lesbians.
@cosmomoore was looking for my sailor moon art, apparently! This is the stuff from this decade, haha. It gets more numerous when it gets older, but also, you know, worse.
This SeraMyu version of Uranus and Neptune is from 2007 and is doing many things I wish it weren’t. But there you go, haha.
I think about Hotaru having been cybernetic and the idea of that carrying over to Sailor Saturn often. It didn’t, because Hotaru’s life is complicated, but I still imagine cyborg senshi from time to time.
Something about Hotaru having been just an experiment for her father and then turning into the Soldier of Silence and Revolution resonates with me. I was also an object and irrelevant as a human being to my dad, and I also would like to wield a giant blade and bring about The End, so, you know, good times.
