Okay it’s been years since my first JTHM obsession and I recently re-read RESWAN by @ladyyatexel . Holy. Crap. Literally I’ve never seen anyone else write Johnny the way Ladyyatexel does. He’s written so deeply and with such care, and there’s so much personalization to him other than “I’m a murderer”. It’s a good read, please devote your time to reading it!!

Hey, don’t wanna be annoying or bother you but do you still have any plans of finishing ISH?
Sure do! It’s been having a difficult time getting started for a long time, but there’s a pretty good chunk of it now. I’ve been spending a lot of time away from it and so going back might make it fresher and easier. I’m looking forward to the fresh eyes on it. It’s important to me to get it right and do well by the characters, so it has been harder work on than reSWAN, where the characters just became themselves. I have to reconsider every story beat in the original ISH because they either no longer fit or are bad, especially for a version of me 15 years later and characters with so much more development. This one has legitimately six different openings I’ve tried so far, at least, and I think five documents dedicated to constructing it. It’s a mess and I admittedly have not worked on it this calendar year or anything, but I still have every intention of getting through it.
I love my glitter and garbage children, I really do .
I am also easily influenced to work on things with excited support behind it, so, you know, asks letting me know people want it are highly motivating haha
