More commonly called the first chapter bit of Cyber-Jamie. I managed to get it all to fit on LJ once I made Open Office stop saving mountains of HTML with it. Enjoy it or something?
He functions primarily on love, you know.
So, I logged into iscribble, and just as I had told lost last night that I never see anyone make a Doctor Who board, LO AND BEHOLD, a board called TARDIS. So I hopped in to check it out.
Dude inside is, predictably, drawing a TARDIS, and asks if I want to help. I tell him I’m not so good with the TARDIS and the last time I had to draw it I sort of wanted to hang myself but I’d love to do a Doctor. And then I comment that I’ll have to pick which one.
‘lol, i know,“ he says. "david or matt lol”
… No, iscribble dude. No.
I said yeeah, no, I’m a Classic fan. He says his favorite is Ten, I admittedly sigh, but tell him my favorite is Patrick Troughton. There is a lull while he apparently looks up who that is.
'did Patrick have a companion’ he asks me.
'Yes! My favorite companion, a Scottish boy named Jamie!’
'Do you want to clear the board and draw them?’
'Well, yeah, I’d love to draw them, but - ’
And he clears the TARDIS. I make a Two head.
“What does Jamie look like?” the guys asks, with slightly less punctuation.
I suspect that the answer he wants is 'dark hair with a kilt.' I tell him he doesn’t need to do draw companions he doesn’t know, and that he’s totally welcome to draw whatever Who-stuff he wants. I might charge other people for making me draw David Tennant, but I don’t make them pay me to look at him!
He tries to draw Jamie (in heliotrope, I want to point out), and gets about three lines in before he gives up and draws a Dalek.
He then asks me questions about my tablet, which is what always happens on iscribble when I get in there with people young enough to think it will make them amazing. He takes my owning of a certain one to be all the info he need that that is what he will get.
He tries to outline my Two, I inform him this is rude and he Daleks while waiting for me to finish. The moments are tense. He tells me the price of his tablet is in dollars, not in pounds leading me to believe that he thinks me being a Classic fan means I am English.
He asks if I want to pixel the board with patterns. I tell him I’d rather draw, but I’d happily clear the board so he can pixel. I do so.
He says, “ok i’m goin to bed” and logs out.
So here’s a Two and Jamie.
