★Kingdom★Burning★Down★

Hahaha, it isn’t yet, unfortunately. That one’s some kind of teal. But I actually have stuff set aside to make a blue glittery one, because yeah.

The amount of things I have because of SWAN/ISH is really kind of embarrassing. More than a few pairs of socks have been purchased for having the right star colors, I have glittery blue star earrings, the scarf that was made for me with the Homicides stars, Johnny’s black and white scarf (which was made for me, but not to be his, I just sort of gave it to him), the black gloves, a necklace with a lock and key combo that felt like Pepito, the actual key ring, a wrist band thing, several head scarves…

Haha, this was sort of exactly what I had in mind! It’s the kind of face I had while sitting there trapped listening to it on rotation, so I imagined them some how stuck with it too, and doing exactly what I was doing to make it bearable: making it horrible.

I’m so excited about seeing more of your impressions and getting to talk more about it~! I’m really glad this enjoyable for you too! I don’t think there are many if any people reading reSWAN without having read the original version, but it’s still fun to talk to someone who is particularly familiar and connected with the old one.

I did so much this weekend that I wasn’t able to do much writing so I could update the story, but I’m still trying! Unfortunately, this is a super busy time of year because I end up painting gifts for everyone for holiday shit and my brother’s birthday is this month (and his is one of my favorite humans), so reSWAN may be stalled until like, January. I’d like that not to be the case, and I’m trying (I write on breaks at work and transcribe it when I get home as much as I can) but All The Things. So I’m really glad to get to talk about it, at least!
